Due to reopen early 2006 after a £1 million refit, the contractors at this site separate out reusable items including:
- Furniture / household goods
- Clothes
- Electrical items
- Soil and hardcore
- Engine oil
This improved site will also recycle
- Newspapers / magazines
- Cardboard
- Green waste - resold as compost
- Fridges/freezers for de-gassing
- Scrap material
- Car batteries
- Cans and plastic bottles
